About the Course

Self-Empowerment Programme for Children - A 10-Week Journey 


Overview:  Embark on a transformative journey with MBS and Learning.gi in Gibraltar through our Self-Empowerment Programme designed specifically for children in Comprehensive School. This collaborative initiative aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth, fostering coaching skills, self-awareness, resilience, and well-being. Each week, children will explore various holistic modalities, including Creative Expression, Sound Healing, Yoga, Mindfulness and more, applying Emotional Regulation, Neuro-Linguistic & Cognitive skills to enhance their understanding of the mind-body-soul connection.


This course will be highly benefitial for students who are interested in pursuing studies in the field of Mental and Emotional Health and Wellness, aiming to expand their toolbox of knowledge and inspire them in their academic and professional pursuits.


Week 1: Establishing Self-Awareness and Identification 

  • Introduction to self-awareness 

  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses 

  • Understanding emotions and their impact 


Week 2: Attaining Inner Peace and Regenerative State 

  • Mindfulness practices for inner calm 

  • Techniques for relaxation and stress reduction 

  • Connecting with inner peace through breathwork 


Week 3: Boosting Confidence through Beliefs 

  • Exploring limiting beliefs 

  • Building a positive self-image 

  • Affirmations and empowering thought patterns 


Week 4: Managing Challenges & Self-Regulation 

  • Developing resilience in the face of challenges 

  • Emotional regulation techniques 

  • Strategies for effective problem-solving 


Week 5: Overcoming Fears and Mental Blockages 

  • Identifying and confronting fears 

  • Breaking through mental barriers 

  • Visualization and exposure therapy 


Week 6: Resolving Conflicts and Challenges 

  • Conflict resolution skills 

  • Building healthy relationships 

  • Effective communication techniques 


Week 7: The Power of Choice 

  • Understanding the concept of choice 

  • Decision-making skills 

  • Empowering oneself through mindful choices 


Week 8: Goal Setting Manifestation 

  • Setting achievable goals 

  • Visualization for goal manifestation 

  • Action planning and goal tracking 


Week 9: Holistic Wellness Practices 

  • Introduction to yoga and tai chi 

  • Creative expression for emotional release 

  • Energy techniques and their benefits 


Week 10: Culmination and Integration 

  • Reflection on the journey 

  • Celebration of achievements 

  • Creating a personal empowerment plan for the future 


Additional Information: 

  • The course integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Breathwork, Yoga, Tai Chi, Creative Expression, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Energy Techniques, Sound Healing, and a Holistic Approach. 

  • Weekly sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate, fostering a sense of community among participants.
